Product Details
This single ikat saree carries a pleasing traditional design reminiscent of rustic aesthetics. The upper half of the saree’s body is in yellow adorning small dots in white while the lower half in black is interlaced with white and red floral motifs. A vibrant red border having a zig-zag pattern runs along the body. The red pallav with diagonal stripes in white completes this subtle and elegant drape woven using mercerised cotton yarn.
Prior to weaving the saree, yarns are required to undergo ikat 'tie/resist' dyeing in accordance with the envisioned design. Achieving desired results under this complex process requires meticulous planning and precise execution.
