Pavan, Turquoise Blue Chanderi Stole with Chikankari Embroidery
This cotton-silk Chanderi stole is adorned with intricate hand-embroidered floral Chikankari work. The centre of the flower head has been done using kasab, an exquisite silver-coated thread used for zardozi embroidery. Renowned for its subtle elegance, Chikankari work started as a white-on-white embroidery, mostly in the form of floral designs. The exquisite embroidery art picked up various colours and patterns in its journey through time. Coming from Lucknow, the city of Nawabs – the stole carries a tinge of royalty rooted in the craft's genesis.Dimensions
