This graceful hand-woven single ikat saree has a bottle green body carrying a classic chevron pattern in white and a vibrant red and light green, Ganga-Jamuna border to go with it. The red pallav is adorned by four vertical columns interlaced with intricate diamond motifs in white, completing this elegant drape woven using mercerised cotton yarn.
Prior to weaving the saree, yarns are required to undergo ikat 'tie/resist' dyeing in accordance with the envisioned design. Achieving desired results under this complex process requires meticulous planning and precise execution.
