Damak, Grey Chanderi Stole with Fardi ka Kaam
This beautiful light grey Chanderi stole with hand-embroidered Chikankari work and 'fardi ka kaam' carries a tinge of royalty. Renowned for its subtle elegance, Chikankari work started as a white-on-white embroidery, mostly in the form of floral designs. The exquisite embroidery art picked up various colours and patterns in its journey through time. 'Fardi', literally means dots - the small metallic dots embellished by hand using silver plated metal wires are a part of the traditional ornamenting technique called 'fardi ka kaam'.
