Ravi Kamble is a Bidri artisan from Bidar cluster, Karnataka. Bidri is being practiced in his family for almost five generations now.  The specialty of this craft lies in the final process where they use the famous Bidar soil mixed with Novasagar water. They boil it till the time the product changes its color to black and white. He has been making products as per modern generation demands. Ravi believes in keeping the old craft alive by just modifying the old designs as per modern generations.
