Product Details
This enchanting handwoven single ikat saree has a black body interlaced with a beautiful scroll pattern in white entwined between two violet rows laden with small white dots. The black pallav with white diamond motifs, reminiscent of intricate latticework synonymous with the region's archeological heritage, completes this exquisite masterpiece woven using mercerised cotton yarn. It comes with fabric for the blouse.
Prior to weaving the saree, yarns are required to undergo ikat 'tie/resist' dyeing in accordance with the envisioned design. Achieving desired results under this complex process requires meticulous planning and precise execution.
