Product Details
The vibrancy of this hand-woven single ikat saree stems from its beautiful ensemble of varied design elements. The vivid yellow body donning solid white horizontal stripes at the top and intricately woven white kite motifs at the bottom is complemented well by a plain black border. The black pallav, interlaced with a classic chevron pattern in white, competes this delightful drape woven using mercerised cotton yarn.
Prior to weaving the saree, yarns are required to undergo ikat 'tie/resist' dyeing in accordance with the envisioned design. Achieving desired results under this complex process requires meticulous planning and precise execution.
