Vishnu Patwa

Vishnu belongs to the traditional Patwa family who have been practising the Patwa craft for last five generations in Kaladera, Rajasthan. ‘Patwa’ was derived from the Hindi word ‘pat’ meaning silk and people involved in the silk and cotton thread work are called ‘Patwa’. He creates his unique designs taking inspiration from the traditional craft and the new trends that he likes on the internet.

Is learning to spin your own yarn an art or a skil! While we dont know the answer to that, learning to spin yarn is definitely theraupatic. It also supports weavers who weave our fabric.
