Subrahmanyum Yesudasu

A secondary-school dropout, Subrahmanyam started learning how to craft Etikoppaka toys, souvenirs and figurines from his father. Born and raised in the craft’s namesake village in Andhra Pradesh, Subrahmanyam further trained under CV Raju – a veteran craftsman. Eager to expand his horizons, he set up his own workshop in 1998, from where he actively collaborates with people from different walks of life to experiment and innovate with new designs which help him keep abreast with contemporary tastes while displaying his mastery in the craft.
