Manjuri Hazarika
Manjuri’s dream project, Kritenya, was started in May 2010. She encourages Assam weavers to develop new designs inspired by their own creativity and offer some design inputs, if needed. The weavers are mostly women who support their families with the income they generate from weaving. She designs and creates handbags and other accessories using these handwoven textiles with special weaves.
