Gobindo is a Sholapith flower light streamer artisan from a village named Gangasagar near Kolkata. His family used to make idols but that did not give them enough money round the year so he started making lightweight products that can be used on various occasions in an urban setup. He has been practicing this craft for 12 years now. This is his specialty and he uses a secret technique to create these delicate flower streamers that are absolutely beautiful.
