David started learning the fine craft of wood carving since his childhood and now, at a mere 22 years, he also makes beautiful wooden items with his father, Asha Ram, and uncle, in the Kaziwala village of Uttar Pradesh. Another 30 artisans from this village, trained by Asha Ram, are also associated with this craft and their products are highly appreciated by craft lovers far and wide.
