Kudos to artist and ancestors for preserving the art and dharma

When I 1st read about Kavad, I was filled with awe. I silently thanked all those ancestors who had the grit to find a way to save our dharma in the face of adversities, especillay when the rulers of Islam were hellbent on destroying our dharma. The extensive use of Kavad to transmit the stories of our gods, goddesses, itihasa and purana and keep our oral tradition alive is nothing short of a great achievement and sheer determination of our ancestors.

Coming to the present day, the onus of saving the Kavad tradition taken up by today's artisans is applaudable task. Also, the onus lies within all of us to encourage this art and make sure the artists livelihood is taken care by this art. This beautiful piece of art that is now a proud piece from history in my dasara doll collection. This is getting appreciation from everyone, irrespective of their age.
Tvami, pls do continue to take this timeless art form to masses and all the best to you.
